Farid obtained his Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Western University, where he was on the Dean’s Honour List. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law in 2018 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019.
In law school, Farid volunteered as a caseworker and a litigator at community legal clinics in Windsor and St. Thomas engaging various administrative tribunals, and assumed executive roles in numerous social clubs and committees.
Farid summered and articled at a large full-service firm in London before launching his career in insurance defence at Blouin Dunn. During this time, Farid gained an in-depth exposure to numerous areas of law, namely, class actions, personal injury/insurance defence, and business law.
Farid’s practice at Blouin Dunn encompasses a vast array of insurance defence matters, including personal and bodily injury, property damage, small claims court files, and accident benefits disputes.
Farid is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. He is also an active member of the Iranian Canadian Legal Professionals.
Outside of work, Farid enjoys spending time with his family and friends, working out, cooking, and studying ancient history and Greco-Roman mythology. Farid is fluent in Persian (Farsi) and Turkish and is proficient in French.
