Prior to law school, David studied psychology and philosophy at Wilfrid Laurier University, earning an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in 2015. He then graduated from Queen’s University Faculty of Law with his Juris Doctor degree in 2018 and was subsequently called to the Ontario bar in 2019.
While in law school, David served as President of the Queen’s Law Litigation Society and competed in the Society Moot where he succeeded to the final round. Upon graduation, David articled at a top tier personal injury and medical malpractice law firm in downtown Toronto where he gained valuable insight into plaintiff’s-side personal injury litigation. He then returned as an Associate for approximately one year before transitioning to an insurance defence practice at Blouin Dunn in 2020.
David’s practice now focuses on a variety of insurance-related disputes, including motor
vehicle accidents, occupiers’ liability, construction negligence, product liability, subrogated claims, and statutory accident benefits matters including priority and loss transfer disputes.
David regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and has appeared
before the Licence Appeal Tribunal and Landlord & Tenant Board.
Outside of work, David enjoys sports, exercise, acoustic guitars and travelling the Mediterranean coastline with his fiancé.
