Blouin Dunn congratulates Audrey Ramsay on her recent appointment to the Civil Rules Committee.
The Civil Rules Committee makes rules relating to the practice and procedure of civil proceedings for the Court of Appeal and Superior Court of Justice. The Committee’s members include the Chief Justice and Associate Chief Justice of Ontario, the Chief Justice and Associate Chief Justice of the Superior Court of Justice, the Chief Justice of the Ontario Court of Justice, other members from the judiciary, the Attorney General (or designate), and appointed lawyers in accordance with the Courts of Justice Act.
Audrey has been involved in a broad range of advocacy and advocacy initiatives. She has written many articles and regularly speaks at seminars on a range of topics. Her practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial, professional negligence, property and casualty, and automobile insurance defence.
